    Turn off and unplug the kettle and power base. To clean make sure the kettle is empty and, before continuing, ensure the kettle has completely cooled. Using a soft, damp cloth and detergent (if necessary) wipe down the kettle. Make sure all connectors, sockets and switches are kept dry. Do not immerse any part of the product in water or any other liquid. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners as these can damage the product surfaces.
