    Always unplug the iron before cleaning and allow to cool completely. Clean the iron with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents. To clean the iron and remove deposits of starch or water soluble, rub the soleplate with a soft cloth soaked in vinegar and water.
